Our certifications are provided by the National Child Passenger Safety Certification program of Safe Kids Worldwide, and certifications can be found here. This program that we offer to all actually incurs costs to Twinkle Twinkle Little Store of over $15,000 every year to fund, including but not limited to training, course fees, community events and certification. If you appreciate this service we are able to offer, please consider donating to our Twinkle Outreach Program.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Store is committed to enriching the Naples community through impactful outreach programs designed to benefit families in need. Our outreach initiatives aim to support local families by providing essential resources and support, ensuring every child has access to necessities and opportunities for growth.
Through partnerships with local charities and organizations, Twinkle Twinkle Little Store channels donations of gently used children's clothing, toys, and baby gear to families facing economic challenges. These contributions not only help alleviate financial burdens but also promote sustainability by extending the lifecycle of quality children's items.
Our outreach programs go beyond material donations. We actively engage in community events and initiatives that promote education, health, and well-being for children and families. Company Philosophy
“Our mission is to educate and provide safe and affordable baby and children’s products to members of our community and visitors alike, in an environment that is family friendly to our guests, volunteers and employees.”
We are a family owned and operated, independent company.
WE ARE HERE FOR THE COMMUNITY
We are a philanthropic business. Through our Twinkle Outreach program, we have donated over a million dollars in-kind goods to local charities and individual families in need. We also raise funds within our store in order to make monetary donations to many charities that don’t have immediate use for used goods. We also provide free services to the community, such as regular ongoing car seat safety checks.
We offer car seat installation and checks by our employees who are Child Passenger Safety Certified, anytime during our store hours.
Twinkle Co-Op Particiants can help out in our store with simple tasks such as hanging clothing, cleaning and organizing. Participants get goods in exchange for their help.
If you are a family in need, we have a Twinkle Outreach Giving Program. We are able to redistribute children’s clothing and baby gear to those in need thanks to the generous donations of our customers.
WE HELP PEOPLE RETURN TO THE WORKFORCE WHO MAY NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO AT A CONVENTIONAL EMPLOYER.
Our little store is proud to have created at least 33 jobs for the local community.
We hire pregnant women who are, more often than not, turned down at other employment opportunities because of their inevitable upcoming maternity leave. Actually we love having pregnant employees and volunteers in our store because they love “nesting” in our store! Many of our employees are mothers of young babies, toddlers and preschoolers. They are allowed to bring their kids to work with them. Some of them have their mothers and husbands able to help out with watching the kids. However, sometimes family members can’t. With daycare expenses running about $200 – $300 per week on average, a mother employed elsewhere may have to miss work, or the costs of day care may not make working worthwhile in the first place. Here, mothers do not have to worry about who will take care of their children, and are able to return to work sooner and make more money that they actually get to keep (rather than pay it to a day care). Mothers in America often have to return to work much sooner than mothers in other countries, leaving their babies in the care of others. In our store, we allow mother and child to continue to be with each other. The benefits are endless, as mothers can continue to nurse their babies and provide them with nutrition and immunity that can not be duplicated anywhere. Bonding between mother and baby can grow to last a lifetime.
For families in need, we have a Twinkle Outreach Giving Program. We are able to redistribute children’s clothing and baby gear to those in need thanks to the generous donations of our customers.
Anyone can come in to Twinkle Twinkle Little Store and pick up an Outreach application. Fill out the application with as much info as possible on your needs and give it to a Twinkle employee. A voucher will be given to the applicant for them to redeem for items in our store.
We are always accepting donations to Twinkle Outreach and they can be dropped off anytime during store hours. Thank you to everyone who supports and shares in Twinkle Outreach, following our mission of local moms helping local moms.
